Per ÖPNV vom Autokontorbayern in Buch

Ich hatte ein Auto-Abo bei finn.auto. Nach Ablauf des Abos muss man sein Auto zurück geben. Für eine Abholung zuhause wird eine Gebühr von 200 Euro fällig. Deshalb dachte ich mir, ich spare das Geld und bringe das Auto selbst zurück. Der nächste Rückgabeort von mir aus gesehen befindet sich in an der Adresse Lehmgrube 1 89290 Buch. Vor allem Dank des 9-euro Tickets würde die Rückreise per Zug sogar sehr günstig ausfallen. Leider spuckte Google Maps keine Verbindung aus, daher rief ich direkt beim Autokontor an: die Antwort: es gibt keine Anbindung, am besten kommt man per Taxi von dort weg. Ich habe aber nicht aufgegeben und mir eine Alternative herausgesucht. Je nach Tageszeit fahren Busse von Ritzisried bzw. Buch ab. Die Verbindungen findet man unter ding.eu. Die einzige Voraussetzung für dieses Vorhaben ist, dass man geht ein paar Kilometer zu Fuß gehen muss. Nach Ritzisried sind es 2,9 km, nach Buch 5,7km.

Aber was gibt es schöneres, ein paar Schritte an der frischen Luft zu machen, ich hatte es ja nicht eilig.

Then you have to be aware, that this component is only available with the upcoming version of primefaces, which is 6.3. Compare to https://www.primefaces.org/road-primefaces-6-3/

Running the new Sky Ticket App on Amazon Fire TV Stick

Recently the app of Sky Ticket, a ticket based video streaming portal was updated and got a totally new user interface. (My actual version is 3.1.0) 


Unfortunately, with the update, it is not possible any more to watch video streams on Amazon Fire Tv using Silk Browser.

Therefore I sideloaded the new App to the stick and besided some orientation issues, it worked out using the navigation of the Amazon remote or some bluetooth mouse.

When starting the app, the ratio of the screen was screwed up, so I was looking for a solution and found "Control screen rotation" app from Google Play store. While sideloading the same, I could start the service of the app selecting "Sensore landscape" and then returning to the Sky ticket app. Et volia, navigation works as expected. In my eyes, the user experience was really improved compared to earlier versions of the Sky Ticket app.

ora-00030 user session id does not exist

Recently, I got the error message

ora-00030 user session id does not exist

when killing a session with ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION ,

In v$session, the session was visible as ACTIVE, so why is the user session not existent?

The solution: Keep in mind, that you are connected to the correct node when using a database RAC. In my case, killing the session was only successful on the instance of that session. Look the node up using this statement:

select s.sid, s.serial#, i.host_name, s.username from
  gv$session s join
  gv$instance i on (i.inst_id=s.inst_id)
where
  username is not null;

Achtung bei Angebot für Bestandskunden von Barclays Leitzinsplus

Heute fand ich ein Angebot für mein Tagesgeldkonto bei Barclays im Briefkasten. Es wird für einen Zeitraum von 6 Monaten ein Zins von 2,75% versprochen und ich vermute, dass es sich hierbei um eine Lock-Methode handelt, um Kunden aus dem aktuellen Zinsmodell zu locken.

Es geht um das Barclays Tagesgeldkonto Leitzins Plus, das Barclays 2012 auf den Markt gebracht hat. Die Konditionen waren zumindest für die letzten Jahre, in denen der Leitzins in den Keller gefallen ist, sehr attraktiv, da man seit Kontoeröffnung für 3 Jahre 1,75% plus den Leitzins angerechnet bekam, also aktuell gute 2,25%.

Das aktuelle Angebot, welches bis 30.9.2013 gilt und dann ab dem 1.10.2013 für 6 Monate verspricht 2,75% Zinsen p.a., wo ich jedoch ein wenig stutzig geworden bin, ist das Vertragsverhältnis nach diesem Aktionszeitraum. Hier steht relativ unauffällig, dass danach "ein variabler Zinssatz zu den dann gültigen Konditionen" gilt und "das alte LeitzinsPlus Konditionen nach Ablauf der Garantie nicht mehr aufleben". Man steht also nach Ende der 6 Monate schlechter da, wenn man das aktuelle Lockangebot annimmt.

Beispiel mit 10.000 Euro für die nächsten 12 Monate:

• 2,75% für 6 Monate macht einen Zinsertrag von 137,5 Euro. Danach den neuen Zinssatz, z.B. 1%, macht noch einen Zinsertrag von 50 Euro, insgesamt also 187,50 Euro.
• Nimmt man das Angebot nicht an, bleiben bei 2,25% ganze 225 Euro.

Es sei also jeder gewarnt.

Update: Ich habe jetzt innerhalb von 2 Wochen schon zweimal das Angebot bekommen. Die wollen wohl sichergehen, dass man es auch liest.

checkout module from local cvs repository on a windows machine

Today I came across a kind of special situation at client. The source code was inside a local cvs repository. The easy step would be checking out a module by using the cmd or tortoiseCVS Gui. Both ways result in the error messages

"cvs checkout: Couldn't open default trigger library: No such file or directory" or
"cvs [checkout aborted]: Couldn't open default trigger library: No such file or directory".

It seems, a dll library is missing. I was looking for a solution, but I did not want to buy a licence for a pro cvs server nor I did not want listen to suggestions like 'dont't use cvs"...

So, in the end, I found a quick way, to get the files out of the repository by installing cygwin with including binary of cvs. In the cygwin console, you have to enter the same command to checkout the module:

~ $ export CVSROOT=/path/to/repo
~ $ cd c:
/cygdrive/c $ cd workspace
/cygdrive/c/workspace $ cvs co theModuleName

Kontoauszug bei Bank of Scotland wird nicht angezeigt

Dumm gelaufen. Wenn man als Kunde der Bank of Scotland seine Kontoauszüge anschauen möchte, wird unter dem Browser Chrome oder Safari nur eine schwarze Seite gezeigt. Schuld ist der HTML Programmierer, der das Tag <embed> verwendet und die Browser jeweils interne Pdf Viewer besitzen, die damit nicht klarkommen. Hier also die Lösungsmöglichkeiten, um an seine Auszüge zu kommen:

• Firefox verwenden
• in Chrome den internen Pdf Viewer deaktivieren: dazu in der Adresszeile chrome://plugins/ eingeben und den Chrome PDF Viewer deaktivieren.
• In Safari einfach im Terminal 
  defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitOmitPDFSupport -bool YES
  eingeben. Danach kann man es ja wieder auf NO stellen
